meet the founder
Vickie started her career in technology as a developer in 2012, and quickly noticed the gender imbalance. Determined to do something about this she started running monthly meetups in 2013, before launching the DevelopHER Awards in 2015.
Vickie is passionate about ensuring that women have the same opportunities in the technology industry as their peers and often speaks at local events about how we can encourage more girls into the wonderful world of technology.
