Hi, my name’s Vickie and in 2013 I founded DevelopHER (Or SyncDevelopHER as we were known then). Since then I have been on a mission to ensure that women in technology are celebrated, and to try and help shine a light on some fabulous role models in the industry so we can help encourage the next generation to consider a career in technology.
This is one of my favourite quotes, that played a part in why I decided to create the awards because I truly believe having great role models to look up to can shape the path we choose in life.
So, I’ve started this blog to continue to showcase all the incredible women we have in technology as well as to give myself (and any one else that wants it) a platform to share some of my own thoughts/experiences around being a woman in technology.
